On Wednesday, April 22nd, and Thursday, April 23rd, students from Campbell Memorial and Northeast Ohio Impact Academy attended the YSU English Festival. These students read and took quizzes over seven different books to qualify for the event.
Students participated in various events, including meeting featured authors Maggie Stiefvater, Randy Ribay, and Chris Crowe. Special congratulations to IreLynn Wellman, who won an English Festival pin and a new book for placing in the Impromptu Writing Contest.
English Festival advisors would also like to give a special thank-you to The Mickey Soroka Foundation for sponsoring the students' admission to the festival. We are proud of the students’ hard work and how they represented the Campbell Community during this event.
